I was a wedding DJ for 27 years (retired) and I've had my property management business for 26+ years, so I'd still be doing something related those:

possibly a minister for weddings instead of the music man and a Public Speaking-trainer. I love to teach and elevate others to their full potential.

No doubt still in corporate,  making 2 or 3 roundtrips a week - domestic and international, living in hotels, meeting rooms, airline clubs, restaurants and limos.  Sounds "glamorous".  It isn't.  A school friend of mine who is a senior executive for a company based in Japan (he's in the LA area) makes 20+ round trips a year to Tokyo.  Detroit to Hong Kong round trip 2 or 3 times a year, even in first class, was "more than enough" for me...

I didn't choose real estate, it chose me, twice.

Looking back at my career, if the world had not changed, I would still be flying/working for Eastern Airlines.

I would be putting the finishing touches on my "Decoupler' spray.

Spray on any object and that object will be decoupled from the influences of gravity by refraction of dark matter, and you can move that hutch without having to call the 'uncle no one talks about."  Yeah, that's what I would use it for, moving furniture.

I was a teacher.

Running for President of the United States

I'd be a beatnik in Europe  (is there still such a thing as a beatnik?)

Prior to real estate I was a purchasing manager.  If I were to chose another career I would open a BBQ restaurant.

I would still be involved with Real Estate, Investing and Property Management. It a family business.

I have done a bunch of things. Some are better at different ages and some things are fun IF you are in a good work environment and making enough money. Who knows what is next.

I would be a veterinarian working on large & small animal.

I still maintain my State Interior Design license and do consulting. I would go back into that field full time. 

I finished law school and was a member of the bar before opening a real estate office. I could have practiced law or entered another business.

I'd be teaching...probably health and physical education...my major was biology and my minor was physical education....

I used to work at a bank. 

Running one of my other businesses.

I would be a landscaping consultant ....I love it!

I was going to be a lawyer, but life had happened;) I would be a therapist, or psychologist and counselor ( isn't it the same as I do now?:) .

I really have no idea.  I've done a lot of things. Secretary, graphic artist, DJ, but I landed where I am supposed to be.

I don't know.  Probably something other than Real Estate.

Great question Colleen. I enjoyed reading about other members of AR, and where they might be if they were not working in real estate.

Me personally, I would probably be a coach somewhere, or in media relations for a professional sports team/league.

I was on-track to be a journalism major ... until lending (and appraising) intervened.  Maybe explains why I like writing blogs .. and why I liked writing the narratives in my appraisals ...

In the late 1980's we purchased a shrimp boat and worked seasonal along the Texas coast.  Mostly my husband and brother in law worked the boat because I had to stay home with the kids and work my job in the dental field.  Once the kids were off to college we worked together in Rockport, Texas.  Was the best time I ever had!  About 3 years ago we sold the boat and settled down near the grand kids.  I would definitely be back on the coast in the boat.

Before coming back into Real Estate, I was in IT Security.  That's where I'd be if I wasn't here.

I worked for Safeway, a grocery chain, on the management side, but glad to be in real estate!
