 Since you are an ATTORNEY there are more options than most must consider.

As an ATTORNEY you by default can do all aspects of buying and selling real estate.

And you can choose to be an ATTORNEY with a focus and purpose to specialize in real estate....or elder care.....or estate planning....or being the conduit for all those investor to investor to investor transactions.

Like everyone else chasing the 'get rich in real estate' vapors, you need to know your value position in regards to your target audience. What are you offering that anyone in Florida Real Estate cares about...since nearly all transactions are processed by title companies.

My suggestion is to get aboard the same band wagon you rode into town one. Florida is becoming more saturated weekly with folks holding fat 401Ks that should be leveraged to purchase investment real estate. 

Then, understand, your conduit to agents will be through their brokers and title companies.  Be selective. You want grow your business by pursuing agents with more than 4 years of experience and less than 10.  Read my 'skills' blog for greater understanding in this selectivity.

Do open houses for everyone in your office.

if I had a law degree I doubt I'd be selling real estate.

Where in Florida and what are you looking to do? Do you want to practice or get your real estate license and just sell?

Don't fall for anyone trying to sell you leads to get going, instead spent time really learning marketing so you can control the process of your marketing 100%. 

Join the local Chamber of Commerce and your local bulders association and volunteer for committe work. You need face to face networking.

I, too, went into real estate after finishing law school and passing the bar in Virginia.
