Low would be about $350 and I showed an amazing penthouse the other day with a monthly HOA of $12,000. 

Hi Kathleen -- at the low -- range would be about/under $250 to over $1000 a month.   Anyone looking to purchase a condo should be careful about completing their due diligence -- a monthly fee is only one aspect -- financial reserves, any pending special assessments and what is included in the fee are just some of the factors to review.

Old properties can be as low as $100 a month, most are $150 to $250. Above $350 is high.

We often see them over $1000/mo. Averages are sifficult to nail down

It varies widely.  We have numerous condos in all sizes, conditions, locations, ages, building quality, maintenance condition, with different reserve levels  and more in my area.  I don't know if anyone has ever conducted a study.

It varies here all over the board. 

Below $300/month is great here.

$350/month is average.

Downtown San Diego can range from $375-$1,000/month.

At the low end, around $100/month... at the highest end around $400-450/month (but these are truly the exception rather than the rule). I think on average we see around $175-200/month. People are always surprised about how manageable our fees are.

I have seen low fees of $100 and high fees of around $500.

I think most here are $500-$1500/month, but there are definitely some that are around $3000/month.

Good morning Kathleen. I did a mortgage on a condo in Vermont that was on a ski resort, the monthly fee was $1096 per month. A amount I won't soon forget.

Low is $150ish area and  high 1-2k for high rise building with a full valley service. 

I have seen the low of $114 up to $2100 in downtown Seattle.

I have seen as low at $70 for some condos in our area Kathleen Luiten - which does not cover much - to about $800 in some associations (and wonder why is that so HIGH?)

Here the gap is huge.  It all depends on the type of property, the amenitties and the state of the reserve fund. 

I try to keep my mortgage below that amount, quite a difference in prices from your paradise to our state.

We don't really have a condo market. I think there might be around a dozen of them in my market. 

Generally they are around $125-$150 per month. I don't think they are much higher than that or would never resell.

I do not know the answer for this question. In the DC Metro area there some very high condo fees.

Denver's downtown is around $500/month, but $250 is the average for the burbs.

Properties in the city are between $300 - $500, those in the near burbs are in the $150 - $300 usually.

big cities and resorts are more. here its 200-300 ish usually. 1000 will buy more house where there are no hoa's or less anyway

I have seen a range Kathleen. It depends on the size of the HOA and the amenities. A door person is not cheap, as are pools, exercise rooms etc. I would say that some of the middle of the road condos here have a HOA of $350 to $300 and some high end condos $600 to $800. We have CO-OPs here the property tax is included in the monthly HOA and they are even higher. 

Ours average $750. - $1000.

Northeren CA(SF Bay Area)-$650 in PA, $400 near job centers, $350 typ in BA, $250 for no frill min service- you pay trash etc. 

My HOA $12/mo  since its inception. Maintain equestrian trails. Use boy scouts to earn badge points so there is no gardener fee for the 1.5 mile ...... I am on the committee. We have lots of reserve. No tax filing fee either... DIY.

If we get paid gardener the dues will be cost prohibitive. 

SF City -I suspect it is almost a grand or so. Pricey .....

In the Phoenix and surrounding areas they can be over a thousand a month to as low as $30 a month.  It all depends on the area and what they do.

800 and up is high- although I see some that are above $2000 - and anything under $300 is low
