they don't come any more seasoned or much older...if they're older, they're probably not in better shape!!! and they probably don't have the stamina....

There is always so much more to learn, I have not had a day where I could honestly say, I did not learn anything.  And time is irrelevant, as I have seen some old timers who know nothing, and some young ones who knew so much it was mind bogling. A

Some may simply think of me as a cranky old man. 

Old timers have more stories to tell about back when we had no cell phones, computers or copy machines and all was well in the real estate business.

Nope, because even with my 24 years experience this business changes regularly now.  I do consider myself "keeping current"

I don't sweat the small stuff as much and know what goes around comes around. There is comfort in having experience as your teacher.

Benefits? Knowing people that know people to get things that newbies can't.
Drawbacks? A lot of old timers get complacent and forget the **.

I try to make sure my clients benefit from my experience. I serve them in ways and with results a newer agent can’t typically do. But as others have said, there is something new to learn or get better at, every day.
