Usually Ginger Marshall a typical response 'I am reasdy to help you' will rarely get the response from the Internet consumer.

The basic concept is - ASK something that they are almost compelled to answer. 

There are some NLP based responses that gets good response rate.

If possible, send a video email - and you are most likely to get a response! (Keep tracking, though...follow up with a text email).

You have to be very personal. Make it clear that you are a person and not an automatic response. Keep it short, reference the day...weather, or holiday. 

My emails are customized to the situation.

Ginger - Just be real with them and ask them what they are looking to do, and how you can help them with your expertise.

It is hit or miss with email. Always respond personally. 

A personalized question based specifically on what you know about them, the area or type of home that are searching for, then offer free information. You have to do as Gabe Sanders advised. Give them something of value.

Unfortunately, there isn't any one such email. Different strokes for different folks, so you need to keep dripping them and seeing what gets individual leads opening your mail.

I have an auto-responder that goes out soon as a new person hits my web site.  When they return I send a more personalized email stating I know the city they are searching, and can offer advice.    I get about 50/50 responses.

I like Praful Thakkar 's answer. You have to try to get them to respond back to you, and asking them a question they might feel compelled to answer is a good way to do that. 

Try to personalize the response as much as possible.

If they refuse to leave a phone number then I will not be wasting time on them.
