Yes, I think it's better now.  But, I rarely answer 10 per day, let alone more.  This will help reduce the number of stupid q's.

I like the change because there were people putting up questions just to get answers/points.

I don't like the change because GOOD questions get lots of answers and they SHOULD be rewarded with points.

good decisions all around.... I like it.....it makes sense....and it will eliminate all the foolish questions that people pose.... just to get points for other people answering....

My guess is that there will be more silly questions and less thought provoking ones.

Works for me. Just can't get that excited about the point system. It is what it is. Since I don't ask a ton of questions, I'll get more points under the new system.

Does that mean that you could care less that I answered this here?  :)  It makes sense.  Still too many times you can get points a day.  some people just do too much stuff for points.

Bob Stewart is right - you should be rewarded for your answer and not for the answers no the questions!

With upping the limit to award points to 20 answers, I'll see higher interaction in this section!

I think it is better, I think it will keep the questions more busienss/real estate related also.

I had seen mention of something to the tune of 15 points per answer yesterday. That sounded steep to me but will probably incentivize more activity here. Do I care? Not really!

I am fine with them, it will certainly cut down on the number of questions being asked.  I wonder if we will find 20 questions worth answering on a daily basis.

Hopefully this will drive people back to the blog posts who have been skipping that area in favor of the question area lately.

Based on the almost one day's of experience, it seems that the quantity of non-real estate questions has decreased.  Bob and/or Ben will need to assess the effects of the decision after some time in order to see if it has the desired effects or has any unexpected undesirable results.

It will benefit some of the newer members to get to the 500,000 point plateau and it is up to the powers that be to make these decisions.

I don't know...and I guess I don't really care. But just like blogs, if someone likes the question enough to answer, then why not give the questioner a small bump?

As someone who routinely answers over 10 Qs a day (sometimes wanting to stop and save some for tomorrow), I like this.  I'll miss the points for answers though.  Questions that spark a good discusssion/lots of answers should get rewarded, IMO.

Yes I'm glad that Bob changed this. For all the reasons he gave, I think answering is what should be rewarded. And like Debbie Gartner I am hopeful there will be fewer silly questions posted too.

I agree with Debbie Gartner there has been a ton of dumb crap on Q&A. Sure you go off topic once in awhile but a few have gone too far.
