Immediately email him and let him know you are there. Or call or text if there's a phone number.

I have a brief auto-responder, but like to email a personal message or pick up the phone and introduce myself.

Before the buyer arrived at the website, what was the promise that was offered that caused them to click the link? Let us say the promise was 'Invisible Inventory' in the cummunity of HIDDEN LAKE.
When they get you the website they need to see a great big fat button labeled HIDDEN LIKE INVISIBLE INVENTORY adjacent to SEARH Tampabay area REAL ESTATE and FIRST LOOK option.
What ever button they click a 'Chat with me' window is available that will connnect them to you...perhaps only when you are plugged in.
There are lots of options, but as you state, trust is established as the promise is OVERDELIVERED.

You need to get their attention to stay on your site. A few eMails will break the ice. If you have a listing they show up that can be the beginning of a biz relationship. Otherwise, it is just a click, hits thing. A lot of thunder no rain.
