To "like" an answer, you need to select "upvote."  They got this term from other q&A sites.

Unfortunately, you can't like or upvote comments.  And, yes, there have been many times I've wanted to.

I don't think there is one.  I've often wanted to do that too!

Isn't like now the same as upvote? If I like someone's answer, I upvote it. 

upvote is the same as "liking" an answer, but I wish we could like comments on answers

It is the Upvote on the right hand bottom of the comment.

I suppose you'd need to respond favorably with a comment....

I believe what you are looking for is the upvote button. It's like a 'like' button. 

That would be the "upvote" button, just a different name with the same purpose.

We can no longer like an answer. I do think that was an option a year ago when the Q&A was launched. We can only like the question and that gives the questioner points. Upvoting the answer helps it make the Home Page.

You can "Upvote" for an answer.  I think this is pretty much the same as liking it.

The closest I've found to being able to like an answer is to Upvote it.

Not sure there is one. When I see an asnwer I like, I will say something in the comment section.
