I am not sure what you mean that "With Thanksgiving around the corner (if you're in North America)". In Canada, we had Thankgiving on October 12, 2015. American Thanksgiving is on November 26, 2015.
Grenada and Saint Lucia are the only other two countries that are part of North America that celebrate Thanksgiving. The rest of the 23 countries, including island countries, that are part of North America do not celebrate Thanksgiving.
