Tammy Lankford something that teaches marketing in NEW world!
Most of the things these classes offer are just 'bookish' knowledge.
The closest one - for me - where I learned something was about 1031 Exchange and one was related to tenant laws and landlord responsibilities in MA.
The most beneficial was CRS 204, creating wealth by investing in real estate and not just because I became an investment specialist. It focuses you on your future retirement and the need to to creat your own golden parachute when you leave this business.
Our CE classes are good, but our non CE classes are better.
The best one I took last year was Growth Systems.
Last year, I took one "How to run a successful brokerage" and there was a whole lot of information that got me to reflect on how I was running my business. Yes, this is after having a brokerage for several years but sometimes it's good to get back to basics.
Tammy Lankford Like Praful Thakkar I learned quite a lot from a 1031 Exchange Class. It is very difficult to get new topics approved for CE in my State.
Good morning Tammy. We don't get any options of courses for our CE. It always seems 95% of what we need to review, there is nothing new each year.
Advanced B.S. Detection course is one I'd like to see.
