It definitely helps you get noticed by AR members which increases your referral network. It also gets you points which ranks you higher in your local area which clients could potentially notice.

I would guess no, you are only featured for so long and the chance of a client finding your post for that area in that time is very small. The SEO from the post you wrote overtime will lead to business more likely.

What you should consider is writing a blog about THEM or their HOUSE and send them the link with encouragement to share with everyone the do and do not know. If you are smart about it, you will have a good CTA included.

Being visable to my clients are past present and future. I would say no for past and present but yes for future clients. Some future clients may come from Active Rain referals and also may come from Google searches that refer to AR more often if you are featured.

Maybe, but being consistent may be more important.

It does help, since more members comment, more traffic, so more love from Google.

I once had a featured article get picked up by Inman and go viral.  When it was all said and done, I had over 40,000 shares on social media.  I used to get featured a lot, and it did help my visibility.  Lately, AR hasn't been as popping and as active, so no.  

I don't think clients will notice but the additional activity could make you rise in the rankings and the public may see it there.

Not really. I have yet to see any conrete results from my active rain involvement.

I think the only benefit to being featured, is more comment on your post, and you may receive referrals.   If you post a really good blog on Google + the public has a better chance of seeing it.
