Reese's in many areas - but in Arizona - Toblerone!

Any candy should be seen as a treat, not an expected food group. We, as kids were allowed to devour all of our treats as quickly as desired but during the rest of the year, as a treat we would be given a bowl of popcorn on a Sat nite and a tiny glass of ginger ale. It wouldn't have occurred to us to expect it any other time. Birthday cakes being the exception of course. Fruit was our dessert year round.

We used to door knock on a professional boxer.
Knock knock, who is it? My niece says it is me Charlene.
Who is Charlene?
Trick or treat.
What is your trick?
Ask the son M.
MMm I don't have one.
M's mom came brought a huge tray of quarters for kids...No candy.
That boy M is now a famous boxer.

I can tell you that one neighborhood we lived in took it personal if they did not get sufficient treats and would trick you in such a way that next time you made sure the treats would come up to standard...... tricks like stealing your groceries from our car that we were bringing in, etc. Not sure what they were looing for but little bags of the hard sour kind did not cut it. Large full size snickers was more like it.

I'm thinking it's Milky Way or Snickers. But, I don't like either. I prefer Reese's.

I believe I heard somewhere that this year it's Reece's PB Cups... for years and years it was Snickers (I know this because I worked for the MARS company back in the 1980's). I know Kit-Kats are big, as well (especially with kids in my neighborhood).
