Did Creature Features or Alfred Hitchcock's movies induce this behavior? I think not. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned "drug induced"...it is the issue of mental health and addiction issues that need to be addressed. The lack of regard for human life and disrespect starts in the home, at an early age.
When you look at it, Halloween is quite a pitiful "holiday". Dressing up children and having them beg for treats? Really?

My answer is no as wehave had all this in movies and tv for a while.
As Sharon Altier, SFR said lack of care for the mental and addiction issues.
Also if the media did not spend hours and days portraying the assailant's it might help a little.

David,
Warlocks and their brides are very nice people, once you get to know them (LOL). I think that what you are refering to has made death and murders more acceptable, because that is so much part and parcel or our TV entertainment? today.

I agree somewhat but I would not accept it as a defense in court. Copy Kats will love those type of shows David Barr
