Can anyone recommend a simple program for making home plans?

I recently purchased a great piece of property that has some problems I am trying to solve.

The lot is 78 acres
There is a working well on the lot
There is on-the-grid electricity
I believe there are two septic systems
There is a partial stemwall on the high ground
There is a great barn, actually a stable 36' by 60'
There is a 3/4 bath in the stable.
There are no permits
I need to make a plot plan and plans for a tiny home in the barn.

The county will not let me connect the electric service until I make and submit the plan.

I would design a living space to be built inside the barn. I might also design a cabin to be built on top of the ICF stemwall that was started 14 years ago.

The property will be worth far more if I get the proper permitting done.

I would like to find inexpensive floor plan software with a library of standard shapes of furniture, bathroom fixtures, etc.

Good luck. I am using homedepot for floor plans but this is beyond them I think - although you should call them and see. if someone has the software to do floor plans they should be able to draw out a house that could/will be there

Good Sunday morning John. One of my inspectors was telling me about a generic CAD Program that he used for doing his house plans I do not recall the name.
