Good morning Tammy. The truth is, everyone in the process is getting paid, that should be gift enough, but when something extra or special is done, a phone call is warranted.
Make it a great weekend!

Good Saturday morning Tammy. I have yet to receive anything from a real estate agent other than 10 pounds of grief. – LOL

Yes, my Lender sends me a lot of referrals and I give him a gift every month. Not expensive, just thoughtful.

Yes, I have given gifts to co-brokers, lenders, title officers, insurance agents, inspectors, appraisers, MLS staff, county office staff, secretaries and others. I also make a point of gifts to all who give me valid referrals.
And I send lots of thank you cards.

Tammy Lankford it's a great idea. I do send it to co-broke agent if the experience is good.

Tammy,
No gifts but I do pay them very well and make it a point to be easy to work with.

Yes, with referrals for future business. It is the best thank you I can receive and I believe it is the same for all the pros in the process.

No, I do not give tokens of appreciation that require the recipient to act gracious upon receipt. I shake their hand and thank them for a job well done.
However I do write them a letter of acknowledgment, identifying ONE characteristic or trait I admire about them and the great worth I see they represent to those around them.

No, but I write them all a nice thank you note after a transaction is completed.
