We are in the business of lead generation - and once lead is generated, the most important thing after that is lead follow-up or lead engagement.

Being a REALTOR gives us the opportunity to keep our own calendar, and too many take time off for personal.   Your gain is so true!

I do not understand why other agents do not either answer their phone or call customers back in a timely manner.  In the 31 years I have been an agent there is still no answer to that question.

Giving benefit of the doubt, maybe the other agents don't have expertise in the area, or even price point he was interested in. 

Curious, did he call you directly, or was it email? Which site did he find you through, Realtor.com, T, Z or ?

So excited for you that you developed a relationship with a buyer today, thats terrific!

We have had the same comments.  I'll take the business if they don't want it.

I completely detest that, why are they in the business if then can't do simple things like that. I also treat people the way I want to be treated.

I'm amazed at the number of agents that dont return phone calls or answer their phone.  

I believe that is why only 10% of the agents are earning  90% of the commission?

I have been hearing this for 40+ years Paul. It's a stumper that is so easily overcome!

i see that allllllllll the time. and i bet nooooo one here on ar does that :). we often fail to do our job well. my personal opinion (not humble) is that we cant handle all of the work often.
