We support each other's dreams & goals; a huge part of our successful marriage. She even worked for me for 4 years while I supported her career transition from Physical Therapist to In-flight Leader for Virgin America. Since we were single income for a while during that season, she allowed me to not need to pay an assistant while I allowed her to focus on Virgin and pass on other airlines. Win/Win.

Yes... my husband is retired and he's very happy not to see me around all the time.

Yes Bob we both support one another-in my couples seminar that I do I ask people to write out their personal individual goals as well as their goals as a couple/ career goals/health and family goals etc.with a time line for each . Then they share what they wrote down and even if their goals are  different-that is ok -the question is can you support me with my goals. Joe and I do this every year. Thank you for your question.
