Windows 10 is now few months old. Have you used it? What's you experience? Any precautions I need to take before I upgrade?

I upgraded over a month ago and it's fine. I like it much better than 8, no more windows and moving screens. It's not exactly 7 though. It's as if 7 and 8 had a love child. Go for it...it went fine for me.

Praful Thakkar I've been using Windows 10 since it first came out. I had some problems in the beginning and had to do a repair install, but it has been working well since the repair.

From previous experience, you should be patient and wait until the second OS update.

According to the MICROSOFT's TECHNET Forum the volume of reported failures is significant (Items 1 to 20 of 1,193,067)

I expect February to be a good time to consider updating or when reported errors is less than 100,000 error reports a month.

My IT consultant(my son), says the freebie is full of bugs. Eventually if getting acceptance they will charge you for annual fees. It is like Win 8 never liked it and wish this PC stayed as Win 7.
