I am not sure if we have 5 strong social media contenders for marketing real estate!
Though we all know Facebook is #2, followed by LinkedIn and YouTube. (Scroll till end to see who is #1 for me!)
I still wonder what kind of promotions do we get by posting listings or pictures of homes on Pinterest, though I still do it! No leads though.
And yes, I do tweet about listings, market reports etc. No leads from there yet!
And G+ almost 'gone' out from competition. Wow, I named 5!
The best one I'd say is ACTIVERAIN! In fact, it's a NICHE SOCIAL MEDIA SITE for Real Estate Professional.s

I've been posting my listings to about 14 different social sites for the last 6 months or so. I have yet to sell a property from that. I did pick up a listing from a post I made to my PERSONAL facebook page, but that has not sold yet.

I guess we would not consider Craigs List as social media...I do use it for my marketing and definitely in top 5. AR on the list for education though has not garnished one lead, even when a Rainmaker. YouTube I expect to be on top soon. Facebook is one area I fight and know I should not. Linked in I use but have no leads that were created there.
