Yes I am not jealous when other agents do very well.  It makes me want to succeed even more.

Yes - as long as he/she doesn't do so by stepping on my toes. If they do, then I register in the memory bank and proceed with some caution in my dealings with him/her in the future. Otherwise, there is plenty to go around.

John - It depends on if that person is a good person or not. If that person lied, cheated, and stole to obtain success, then no I am not happy for them. If that person had morals, was kind and considerate, and  honest, then I would say they deserve everything they have.

I just had this conversation with an agent in my office and yes, we were talking about how we love to take joy in others success.

I am sincerely happy to see anyone content and happy. It doesn't have to be someone in my business or that I know. Happiness breeds happiness with me.

I don't really care.  This business provides us the opportunity to succeed at our own goals.  The only time I really let it even enter my thought process is when the other agent is haughty,  proud and hard to deal with.  One top producer suggested to me an illegal way to "make the deal work".  I lost all respect for that person in that transaction.  They can produce all they want.  I know how they conduct business. 

Hmmm, I would need to ask, "Are they buying?"

Then I'm sincerely HAPPY!

It does not really effect me one way or the other, if they are doing great that is great. I prefer to focus on my own goals and success as opposed to seeing what others are doing.
