My biggest TV is 18 inches so I would say no. Not much TV watching in this house hold

Yes, though I have yet to purchase one, I generally get the old model when one of my kids upgrades.  TV is a very low priority for me and not worth spending money on.

Depends on how you define Big.

I am now seeing man caves with multiple big screens so the guys can have multiple games on at once. They just switch between which one has the volume turned up.

We are a bit behind the times and finally bought our first one last week because it seemed like a good deal.  It's a "smart TV" but thus far it only made it out of the box.

And two of the humoungous ones; holds my material and books I am reading.

if you're talking about the bulky ones, no is the answer.... but if homes have the right room size, there are many very nice large flat screen tv's.... 

We have 2, plus a few of the older, bulkier ones, plus a smaller flat screen for our bedroom.

Now that I think about it, we have too many tv's in our house. 

What do you consider to be a big flag screen TV?

Good morning Captain Wayne. I'm sure that is not the case, I know I run into the big box TV's when I buy homes to flip.

I do. One. It is a new new flat screen beauty and......we almost never use it. I planned to attach it to the wall, but since every member of the family has an ipad and very different tastes, the tv is just collecting dust.

Well, by the time I get a flat screen (and i have) everyone else has one as well.

I can't imagine who doesn't with the price being so affordable now.  My parents are usually the last to get anything and they have one.

I have a big one. You know what's funny, though? I don't have cable or satellite TV service. I use the thing to listen to music and to watch DVDs. Mainly music concerts. I don't have any programming service. The sound is pretty amazing.

Yes Captain Wayne, I do not think you can buy a CRT based tube anywhere.

mostly. but whats big?? 42/50/60?  we have as a option in our new media rooms a 80 inch there abouts :)

When I show homes it looks like everyone has more than one. And many of them are the new really big ones.

These day? I bought my first one in 2003! I ditched my last "box" in 2005. Don't see many of them down here any more.

Captain Wayne - Rowlett Real Estate School We have a 46" plasma TV. Probably small by today's standards, but it is perfect for our room size.

I looked at 55-60 inch screens since the prices are so low but settled on a 39"er. It made the cut for being under the 46" average seen today.
