As for me, I do not discriminate, I have been guilty of putting my foot in my mouth with cilents and non-clients alike.

??? Unless what you said was incorrect, your foot is where it should be. I would inquire of Mr PHD how he would modify your 'talk' and feed his ego a bit.

Where my most embarrassing moments have surfaced is realizing the buyer or seller I was with is using the lexicon of shows seen on HGTV which is contradictory to the real world of real estate in Florida. 

I was agreeing to things for which they had an entirely different, and incorrect, understanding. Had to cut the ropes and sail on.
