I think it starts with header/ sub header/ the body and how you do a "return" on the typing keys- don't use Tab to start a paragraph...
The font is triggered by keystroke and by the formatting set into AR's blog code
Try - typing on word, pasting to notepad (gets rid of all your returns, tabs, space errors that the code reads as - @@## ~~ "please change font"

The editor goes haywire from time to time. Try stripping the text and resetting the fonts.

Yes, this is a regular issue. Much of the time, if you highlight your text, you can change the font size. You may experience problems when you are using text from another source.
I frequently draft posts in Word and do have the font issues on a regular basis. Even when I find a fix, it does not always work.
