Neve ussed one, gave my wife the option when we remodled but she declined.
I hear it reduces paper use!

No I would not however, the last say on this wouldn't be me. What a good question and thank you

Yes. Though, not a full bidet. Just the seat on a modern dual flush toilet. It's a great way to conserve water and have an affordable luxury.

yes.... that's something that should be standard....I designed my last home 27 years ago and my master bathroom had a bidet....

Olga Simoncelli I lived in Europe where they were pretty common. I wouldn't have a problem with including one. With today's upscale master baths, why not?

No, not for me. Though there are modern toilets that have a bidet function built in.

Probably, in the owner's bathroom only.

Absolutely! Once you have one, it is difficult to consider NOT having one. To the naysayers, I would add that once you have a bad flu or motezuma, you will never regreat a bidet. It can make life less miserable; even for a child.

Depends on the target market for the home, upscale clients, probably yes.

I would not. They take up too much space in the bathroom. They were designed in the 17th century to clean private parts, which current day showers, baths, sinks can accomplish. The bidet has now become a "plumbed" wash basin, nothing more. OTOH, if I were quite elderly, the bidet might make more sense.

The times I have shown homes with one the buyers were not overly impressed and felt it took up other space that could hae been an extended cabnet, etc. That said, most have never experienced one so what we don't know we can't appreciate.

No, had them in Europe and never used. Have seen them in high end homes and was always told that they were never used. Very pretentious as far as I'm concerned.

It would be very odd in my area. In 35 years of selling homes I have only seen one bidet in the thousands of homes I have seen.

Olga - Not sure, I have actually never used one. They don't seem to be my style, but I can't really knock it until I have tried it.

No, I like the option of the jets and heated seat like Mike suggested, but beyond that no.

It would depend on who the home is for. Some people want them but many do not. Also, only a limited number of properties in my area have bidets.

No. They aren't popular in this area. i think i've seen 1 or 2 in the last 10 years. It could be an option, or I might do a plumbing rough in for one, but that's about it.
