No but it would be great with me if they did.

We just started doing this late last year. I think it's a great idea.

Plenty of crooks out there trying to run scams with the properties on the net.

Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Tacoma Washington - that's a good idea. I think our MLS should do that. This will stop Craigslist scam.

Paul S. Henderson, Realtor, Tacoma Washington No watermarks, but they do mark the photos with a copyright.

I think one reason agents don't worry about taking high quality photos is so they don't have to worry about other agents using them without authorization.

Paul - Our MLS has been watermarking the date and 'ARMLS' in the lower left corner of our photos for years. I don't think it helps keep people from scraping the photos though.

No it is up to us to do it. One of the largest photo/floor plan companies we used here puts one in the lower left had corner but it has their name and only the photos they take.

No they do not. I don't know if they plan to do that in the future or not.

They put GLVAR 2015 in the middle of each picture. It does not really bother me, plenty of people still use your picture however since it just lets you know the local board name and year not the agent.

No. I don't think it really protects from scapping since most watermarks can be cropped.

No, but I wouldn't mind it. I sometimes use watermarked photos other places (my site, zillow, trulia ect.)

No. In any event, watermarking would not prevent photos from being scrapped.
