Has anyone noticed the trend of the major portals showing a supposed active number of listings in a search results link?

Of course, Zillow and one of our competitors was completely off. What do you think the rationale behind showing an active inventory number is? The more listings, the more a consumer will click a link?

David Barr, this number can change minute to minute.

New listings get entered, current listings get pended, sales get finalized. Are you seeing dramatically different numbers from these sources?

I honestly don't know how often the feeds go from each MLS to the syndicated sites, but it seems like r dot c picks up those changes pretty quickly.
