I don't think there is a limit. Give an overview in the first few frames then go into detail and if he person is interested they will stay tuned until the very end. If not, they will click off.

Can you have too many? Maybe you can, but I bet it depends on the property.

I don't think there can be to many, just don't use the same ones over and over.

well, i think more important is the quality and the order they are shown. 4 amazing ones will get them out there..40 horrible ones will make sure they never visit :) and the order it goes in will help it make sense

John Mosier - depends on the size of the home. Some homes may need more than 30 whereas a small townhouse may have about 20 without repeating the pictures.
Though you can always suppliment with exterior, neighborhood etc pictures. 30 sounds like a good number and many portals allow 30 pictures.

25 is my minimum, typically after that it depends on the property. Does it have features still needing photos, then I add more. The property & amenities & view determine how many more than 25 I do. (25 because that's what our MLS allows as a max for the MLS-photo gallery).

My MLS recently increased the number of photos that can be uploaded from 9 to 20. However, it may be desirable for some properties to have more photographs available.

What is the PURPOSE of the tour?
To inspire the viewer to get the information that is relevant to them?
To unsell the house by overburdening the viewer?
Contrary to what has been shared, there most certainly CAN be too many images.
Here is the criteria you need for a proper 'sizzeling' tour that makes buyers raise their hand.
1. Maximum length of published public tour 2.5 minutes.
2. Make it personal.
3. Cuts between 7 and 9 seconds. (now you can calculate maximum image count)
4. The audio sets the mood. If you want the buyer to fall asleep, use the existing sound track.
5. Make the length of the presentation visible.
6. Include your branding in all locations except the mls.
7. Have a video two available that shows what is behind the curtain for serious buyers only.
8. Use a brief snippet of real video to bring the place to life.

The two things I get asked for most is more pictures and a floor plan. So my attitude is "give them what they want." Never too many pictures (I use Tour Factory as well and have for donkey's years), as far as I'm concerned. A buyer can always cut it short if they want.

Good morning John. Just enough photos that will get the attention a prospective buyer, that can usually be done with a dozen photos.

If you have more photos you need to go through them a little quicker. I like to keep my videos under 4 minutes. I prefer between 2 and 3 minutes.
