I watched a lot of the shows you mentioned. I don't subscribe to any kind of TV service at my house. I get my news off of the internet. Instead I prefer to watch DVDs and some of them are TV shows series that I enjoy. Like some of the old shows. I also use my TV as a stereo and listen to music. I also have a lot of concerts on DVD that I watch and listen to. I really enjoy music.

Growing up on a farm did not allow for much TV. So it is nice to get acquainted with a few of these shows now on the re-run channels.

I spent most of my time playing outside, once my family moved to the US, I mostly watched Discovery Channel or TLC shows.
I feel like back then those channels did have educational shows, I loved Mythbusters. Now days especially TLC might as well be another reality tv channel with no educational value.

I have seen many of those on reruns, and I Love Lucy is favorite rerun.
When I was younger, I guess the shows were Diff'rent Strokes, Facts of Life, Gimme a Break, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Partridge Family, Fat Albert, Jackson Five, School House Rock, All in the Family, The Waltons.
