I don't think it matters.  For what it's worth, the button under the blog says "re-blog."

I think you are safe in The Rain with eather, either.

I don't think it needs to be hyphenated.... but that's just an opinion.

When you "say" it, you can't tell any difference.   

As for writing the word -- I also don't think it makes a difference.  People understand your intent and that's what's important in communication.

I'm usually pretty picky about grammar and spelling, but I'd say either reblog or re-blog is fine.

It's like other examples like this rewrite, reread, redirect, etc., therefore no hyphen. 

I completely agree with Debbie Gartner. Either is correct. 

I'm lazy.  I say reblog.

I  have used re-blog for years but I could change if this is incorrect.
