All the time. All of my listings this year have sold at full ask or above. 

Of course.  I like to tell buyers I work with about a situation last summer.  We were first ones in, beautiful home listed at $399K.  Once we left, they told me how much they liked it and I shared that I had just closed on another in the sub, that I knew it would sell, probably full price.  They didnt believe me and I understand, we all want "a good dea".  They slept on it, limped in at $375K.  Sellers received 3 other offers the first 24 hours.  Buyers upped it, rewrote at $415K.  Sold for $425K VA loan in 24 hours.  Sometimes, paying full price is a good deal.  Had they done that, right away when we saw it first, they would have got the house at $399K.  I have learned this lesson, many times over.  I can share BUT I have learned many buyers have to learn it on their own.

In our market, it is not unusual for buyers to pay much more than the asking price when there is multiple contract competition.

In a seller's market, buyers pay full and better, if priced properly.... in a buyer's market, you work like hell to encourage one to see the property!!!

Friday, one paid $35,OOO above appraisal.

This year 50% have been over list price. (be aware, some of those were strategically priced)

Over 60% of homes sold in Pinellas County FL are cash sales. That does create a unique environment for the astute professional. Mortgage lenders, however, are very unhappy with having access to just 40% of the market.

In our market as of late some have paid over list price.

Many buyers pay more than full price in our ongoing sellers market that has numerous multiple offers on numerous properties.  Some buyers even pay hundreds of thousands of dollars over list.

Have I ever "had" a Buyer pay full price?   I've had several Buyers "choose" to pay full price and more sometimes.  It is not something I have control over.  My area is now a Buyer's market with 11 months or more of inventory. 

All the time and many times over. It is demand-driven.

Under $200,000 all the time in Oklahoma City, and over the listed price often.

In my area, buyers are paying $100,000 over an asking price of $599,000. It is far more than $100,000 when the asking price is higher.

Many in CA pay full price to a range of $20,000 to $300,000 over asking.

But, I do what I can when I can; my record was $60,000 under asking in 2007 during our depreciated market.

In this market, often.  More times than not.  It's a total seller's market here in Fort Wayne.  

Almost always, especially in lower priced homes. 

It's getting more common this year compared to to the last few, sometimes even over asking!

This has become quite the common occurrence in my area.  It is going to take some buyers a bit of time to adjust to the shift in the market.  

In the first few years in my new career (I began in 2005), I had less than 20% offer full price.

Now in the incredibly strong market in my town (Durham, NC), the majority of my client's offers are full price or above. Otherwise, they do not get a chance to be presented to the seller because of competing offers.

Just had one that did, full price, no concessions of any kind and still we received a counter asking for a quicker closing date!
