Here in lovely St Petersburg, the national average regarding failure to use turn signals is corrupted. It appears every 1988 Buick has the left turn signal blinking perpetually, and of course they are driving in the curb lane.

Yes and with notice! Yes and anothr pet peeve of mine is lights that are not working!

Yes, it is a legal requirement in Ontario and in other jurisdictions where I drive.

99% of the time yes. Here in Miami our lovely majority don't feel it is necessary and it is very annoying to say the least.

I'm shown daily by many drivers, they think I'm number 1 on the road. Seriously, they all seem to hold up one finger as I weave on by without my signal on in a very energetic gesture of "you're number one in my book buddy!".

yes, always..... and I hate it when someone's turn signal does not shut off....that's an accident waiting to happen....

I probably use it 98-99% of the time.  I think there are a few times late at night when there is no one on the road that I haven't used.

Michael - I guess you are only getting responses by people who use their signal when making turns, although I would guess that at least 80-90% of every car I see out on the road does not use theirs.

Count me in the minority, as I use my turn signal when turning, switching lanes, etc. It is very frustrating when other drivers do not use theirs and all of a sudden they are slamming on their brakes and turning in front of you.

I use turn signals. All of use need to drive defensively.

I do always use my turn signal it is a habit.  I dislike drivers when they start to turn they turn on their signal a little after the fact.  I live in the Atlanta area so we of course have the worse drivers.
