 Good Wednesday morning Debbie. Yes, I do. Sometimes they respond sometimes they don't.

Debbie - I have never reached out to another Active Rainer who has gone missing, but there are certainly Active Rainers that I do miss.

It depends on the relationship I have with that member. 

I have done that in the past.  I'll probably do it in the future, too.  I always think it's sad when someone forgets about AR because I know they're missing out on the benefits.

Yes and the other day I wrote an email to a great Active Rain friend who has not been around and found out she has been sick but will be coming back soon.  I do not want to mention the persons name because I did not ask their permission but I do care about this community.

Sometimes, unfortunately I am generally so busy that it takes a while to notice when someone is missing.

When I  notice someone missing, I do pop them an email asking about them.  We are a community of caring and sharing souls!

Yes, I've done that often. 

I think we should all do that.

I have actually maintained relationships with some that have left. I don't do it as frequently as perhaps I once did, but that is only because I'm super busy right now.

Hate to say it, but I don't. There's so much to do each day in running my business, my home, and staying on top of AR with active members, that I can't say I have the energy or inclination to chase after a drop out.

Debbie - it depends on how well I "know" the person -- with the difficulty "finding" members on the blog roll, someone could have been missing for years here and I might not notice.  

I hear Jimmy Hoffa has been hiding out in AR since the '60s and this forum was even around then.  

No. I believe there is a reason they left.

That reason is they do not receive sufficient value for the time they invest.

They have chose to follow the money on a different path.

Hmm, maybe I SHOULD call and find out what they have discovered.
