Does any one know of any cheap OCR software that works decently? I have a 30 manuscript I would like to edit and do some work on.

Gene Riemenschneider I use OmniPage and it does a pretty good job. The document has to be crystal clear or else there will be a lot of editing.

Gene can you explain how you woukd use OCR software? Most of the time I am scanning into a PDF format and stay away from JPeg . It is my understanding that OCR converts PDF into JPEG or word documents ?
