It's been years since we bought fireworks.

Nothing. Fireworks can not be purchased or used by individuals in our area.

I spent that same as last year...zero $.

I haven't spent any money on fireworks in ages, decades. I let the pros handle the fireworks. We have a few vets in our neighborhood who have signs posted concerning PTSD and have also taken that into consideration. My stepsister was badly burned over 35% of her body when a sparkler caught her nightgown on fire. That was many years ago. I have seen too many houses go up in flames because of neighbors use of fireworks. One year when my parents had a lake cottage, 3 owners (my father's included) had fires due to drifting fireworks (bottle rockets). One landed 2 ft. from an infant in a playpen, another on a boat cover and nother on a neighbor's roof (he wasn't even there). Oh yes and I forgot about the neighbor who had his window down in his newly purchased car. Totaled the car. So no fireworks for us. 

Nothing.  We don't have 4th of July fireworks in Canada.

Zero this year. We are going to enjoy the ones our cities put out this year! Happy 4th!

Nothing. My neoghbors have professional grade fireworks they shoot off every 4th of July.

$59 for sedatives from the vet for my dogs

$129 for the overnight stay at the hotel so my dogs aren't home when the bombs bursting in air are raging on my street

$0, nothing, nada. To me that would be like shooting money up in the air and seeing it explode, everyone is already doing it I'll just watch haha.

I spend about $100 on fireworks and have a blast with the kids.

"0" They are illegal in New York. Don't need the aggrevation of a fine or imprisonment. We have a lot of woods near us as well. We go to the beach and watch others set off their illegal fireworks.

I'm with most everyone who responded -- have spent nothing on fireworks (ever), even though it's easy to buy them here just over the boarder in South Carolina.
