Yep, me included.  I've been so busy with real estate it's all I can do to jump in and hit the Q&A section.

Some are just buried in real estate work and dont have time. Others dont blog in a regular fashion and then say they dont get any customers from blogging.  No matter how busy i am i write my daily blog, my time reading other blogs has suffered though with a lack of time to do it. But i will catch up, read up and comment up. 

Probably.  They don't find any real business coming from what they have done so they put it on the backburner and then forget.

I've seen of bit of this, James. But the problem for me is actually finding the people I follow, so I don't know if they are posting less or I don't see them.

Yes, and this tends to happen every spring and summer.  Some will be back in the winter and others will just move on to other things, esp those that have not been that successful w/ their blogging/haven' gotten many results.

A few, but we all go with the ebbs and tides of intellectual lucidity.

I am seeing more likes than normal and the blog comments are down.

I think people drop off all the time for a variety of reasons.

James I for one have slowed down due to the market. Business is at all time high. But know I am and will always be here on AR.

I have followed many members who not longer post, which is too bad.  Their posts were wonderfu, and well written.  I don't thing everyone has the patience to write and continue to post.  A

I like to message them and let them know they're missed!  It's one of those "Ambassador things we do behind the scenes!" 

James Dray It happens! People get busy and focus is shifted a bit! It's all about time and commitment!

One of two reasons.

#1. Participation on AR paid off and now they are too busy shake'n and bake'n to come play in the AR sand.

#2. Participation for them turned into a time hole and they choose to escape.

I like to think that the party has come to their street and their purpose, focus and priorities have changed. 

Some people I follow have not blogged in years.

I think their markets have picked up and they are leaving the marketing on the table...they'll feel that in the future...

I haven't really noticed anything different on my end James.

Membership retention is a major problem with ActiveRain. It is so easy to become discouraged when blogs are not productive and technical problems with the platform are very common.

I think it's normal for people to take a break from consistent blogging. Other family and work/business related issues take priority now and then. I suspect others are watching the changes due to new ownership. It appears to me that blogging has increased, yet 3+ weeks ago it appeared that most agents were focusing on Q&A.

There are times when life happens to people. Send an email or call to check in with them.
