Your question is not clear to me.

Is the listing agent showing a house to a buyer and the buyers agent that is polluted with the carcasses of dead bugs, and even a few that are not so dead? Are we talking about one in the bathtub or a every step is crunchy as you more forward in great trepidation situation?

I make it a practice to get there first and make the bugs gone. That is why the owner hired me. They know I've got the back, even when 'It's not my job."

The agent who does not show up for ALL showing, and makes certain the house shows best, should be fired.

HOWEVER, the METHOD  the owner chose to sell the house is what dictates the action the agent must take. None of us are privy to the discussion that took place between the owner and the agent and should exercise caution before throwing the agent under the bus.

And here is my example.

I think it is lazy on the agent's part. They are the seller's eyes and ears and if a touch up housecleaning is needed get it arrranged for the seller. Showing in that kind of condition is not helping your seller at all.

Winston - If I were showing the property, I would get there early and clean up all the dead bugs, no question.

Perhaps I was expecting a little different in my years of this business, but it seems more and more of " I don't give a damn approach" or "that isn'y my job" to everything we touch. People have gotton so lazy they can't see through the dirty windows any more. Persoanlly I think is says a lot about who we have become as a nation.

Fine with me, the more superficial things left undone, the better the property is for an investment.

It depends on the property.  Is it an as-is property where alot of work needs done?  Or are you talking about a nice updated property.  Either way it is the owners responsibility to keep it clean.
