Cathy - I guess it would depend on the value of the property. I would say that anything over $500k, I would be willing to pay for some staging.
I like Sam's idea of deferring the payment until closing, and if the home does not sell, the home owner pays.

I seldom use a stager...The few times I did was almost a disaster. people still live in their homes and each time it was staged as a show piece. Hard to do with kids!
