Not disappointed but maybe thats just ignorance.  We write for SEO purposes only, the rest is a great gift.

If I can get 10% of the people who look and read my trivia each day to leave a comment I'm happy.  

Constantly - particularly when I was not blogging as frequently - now I feel like my friends at least will comment. The ones that surprise me are the features - I haven't had a lot but every time I am so excited! 

I never expect anything.... I truly rely on MLS for our business, and it has never disappointed....this is a bonus....and I DO receive bonuses, Joe..

One or two comments from other bloggers, and I usually get that.  I would love it if my phone started ringing with clients.  Over the years I have obtained business, the client(s) told me they Googled for example "What does Active Capa" or Dodd Frank Act and my blog was on the first page of answers.  Which considering I dont pay a service to get me on the top of lists, was sort of amazing.  I have obtained business from writing a blog, which only cost me some time.   I like those ROIs when they occur.  Have a good weekend.

I do not count on any results other that receiving some comments and likes. 

It is a bonus when I am advised the the messages were important to individuals.

I just wrote my 1st blog and I was surprised with the result. Lots of comments and suggestions from the community. I love it. I have read in some articles on writing blogs that the ultimate result is for us to generate leads. How, I am trying to figure out. I probably will read blogs so I could learn. Good question as it provided awareness and called for some action.

Low expectations means I can be happy when anyone comments and quite grateful when it prompts a prospective client to contact me.  

Rarely do blogs have a direct effect unless you are featured on something like Medium. If it drives traffic to the website that's the ticket. My site shows how people enter so I pay close attention to is it the blog, the IDX, or something else.

Can't say I write expecting specific results. I see each post as a part of a big "whole."

You know the saying "there's bigger fish to fry". If blogs brought disappointment I've got other problems to deal with first Joe.

I hope consumers will read them and that it will be high on google ranking.

I want it to be something that holds up; I can refer people to it down the road and it's relevant. I do of course write topical ones that have a shelf life in our ever changing industry, but my core blogs are more like my Q&A section for my clients: I send them a link rather than re-type the same answer to the same questions year after year. My only disappointment is trying to figure out the random criteria of "featured" on AR.  Once I stopped caring, none of my blogs were disappointing to me.

I don't expect anything.  So, I'm rarely disappointed.

When I write a blog, I am in hopes that the message will be received by people who are interested in reading it and responding. I find it very therapeutic!

No expectations, I try to share my knowlege and hopefully someone listens and it helps improve there business. ActiveRain is my giving back, after disappearing from it for a year.
