Yes that is what is happening and some that have never commented on blog posts are commenting on the questions. I think it is easier for them. And many that don't write blogs are asking questions. I think this is what the staff wanted. 

The Q&A is a quick way to cop some points for sure. My blog points are down too. I think it is due to the shift in the platform.

Larry - Hmmm.... that's interesting. I don't write too many posts, so I guess I haven't noticed the drop off. I'm not sure this is a good thing, but would imagine people feel it's much easier to read a simple question and comment on it than to read an entire blog post.

It's not the same Larry.  Our blogs were competing with Zillow -- so they had to destroy the platform . . . god forbide a real estate agent should actually have a blog that ranked higher then the Almighty Z . . . 

To be honest I like the Q&A better. 

Larry Johnston maybe it's easier to answer a question than read through a 300 word post.

People do not have the time for all those long blogging comments.  Unfortunate.  I do still try.

Stop asking so many questions and concentrate on your blogs (just kidding of course).  A good question as always Larry...  

Each has benefits.  With Q&A I enjoy reading what others have to say.  Good question.

Folks like the Q & A, it is easier.

Folks would rather click LIKE or UPVOTE than leave a meaningful comment, it is easier.

The value of AR to us all has significantly decreased, and that was really easy.

My thoughts? Since AR is making changes not beneficial to members, members should take the liberty to do whatever is needed to create value for the individual member.

I think that many come here for the same reason that they have made very short blog posts more popular than long ones, we are too busy to read anything of substance.

Maybe you are posting too many questions, Larry. I hardly post any questions and get plenty of comments on my posts.

I like the points on the likes for Q and A. We do not get points for likes on comments to posts.

Good morning Larry. I am have a ball with the Q & A. Am able to ask questions that I am curious about, so if that means my other comments are down, that is fine with me.

It's quick, it's easy, there are points involved...comments on blog posts are awesome, but it's the SEO that counts. 

Larry:  I think the questions move topics along faster here on AR ... you can gain facts and info quickly.  Plus it's dialogue and relationship building ... definite plus ...

I like q and a and I enjoy the blog posts. I see them as different uses. I find myself commenting more on q and a then posts

Very personal opinion, questions can result it some short but to the point opinions about what you are curious about. Comments of blogs are from other reale state professionals who are not buyers or sellers. 

Larry, I am seeing that too, and many have stopped blogging every day, no nothing to return a comment.   

I will probably review some of the Q&A and check out those that got some good feedback and blog about it and expand the information. 

I concur Larry. My day starts in Q & A since its inception and only get to the blogs at the end if there's time. That said, I see where this platform is bogging in quality also.
