I just checked Debbie, all property types for the month of April in Evanston IL $379,000.

I work in several different towns - being metro of Boston, it is not so unusual hence I'd see the prices verying from about $400K to $1M!

For this past April it was $313,000.

I think our average sales price in Montgomery Co MD is probably around 500k - but different neighborhoods will change that too - and in Washington, DC itself, depending on the part of the city, it will vary widely

Good morning Debbie. I don't have those statistics, but on the mortgage side, my average mortgage side in 2015 is $213,000.

Debbie - In my area, it really depends on the market you are trying to attract. We have $175k-$200k neighborhoods, but also $1 million neighborhoods. I typically work the middle class neighborhoods - homes between $250k and $400k. 

Elkhart County Indiana is $127,000.

This is somewhat of a mixed bag geographically speaking Debbie but it is compiled from within the activities of members in the local board. The single family home sold for slightly more than $657,000 on average in April.   

Right now Debbie we are selling all over the board. 

$500K+ and moving higher.

Depends on type of home. Average (AKA decent) town homes $400K and single family $600K in the Northern Virginia area.

ours is $400,000.... at one time it was high $400k

Here, the median is $650,000; the average is higher and is likely closer to $800,000.  That is for the whole county.

Most of the towns I work in have median prices of $800,000 - $1.2 million (and average must be higher.

The range of homes we've worked on would be from around $60,000 (for some co-ops) to $10 million.  I don't really count the $75 million property we worked on because it wasn't the main the house, but rather a guest house.

As of April, the average selling price in our MLS was about $241,000 and year-to-date, about $231,000. So it's obvious how home prices are rising.

I service several townships in Bucks county. Each township has a different average sale price.

Around $250K

The property types in my area are all over the place. You can have a home in town, a manufactured home in town, a manufactured home on acreage and a stick built home on acreage. The view can also make a difference and add irrigation water into the mix and you are all over the place. 

Our average for Clermont YTD is $219,000.

Mine is about the same, although there have been some development properties taht would skew the results.

$100,000 in town  $140 out of town.

Hi Debbie -- it varies by community and housing type(single family versus townhouse or condo).

Lowest area I cover is an area with primarily condo/townhomes in the low 300s

Highest is a an area with only single family homes and that is hovering around 2.0 million.  

In Johns Creek the average sells price is 450,000

Our average is over $400,000. This is why you should be attracting retirees from our area.
