I wish I could get some help or a good tutorial John. I can shoot videos but I am elementary when it comes to editing or adding text, slicing or anything besides the straight video. (this is a cry for help).

John,
You are embarking on a project that will prove to be a deep as your pockets.
Your greater vision regarding your intent to host webinars and other informational productions must be considered. What I am going to refer are resources that create exceptional productions using only an iPhone.
Don't take my word for it. Here is the link to a nearly PERFECT home tour done with an iphone (and some magic dust). If you really want more information. you'll need to let me know.

There is another resource from the Genisis guys available from 'Hollywood Types' that is still fully compatible with iPhone but has a much more robust professional element and associated price tag.
Moral to the story....the Canon Vixis HD R600 is not required and the full suite including super wide lens is less that 1/4 the cost.

I use final cut X. As far as music goes, what fits the mood I am wanting to create.

Good morning John. The best resource for me and many that I know is Kyle Reyes, he's also an AR member. No one better to get the message out.
Make it a great week!

John - Sounds like video editing is something a lot of people would like to know more about. I don't know much about the editing at all, so unfortunately can't help you.

John,
There is such diversity of software available to do this. The answers get will all basically be driven by "what a person uses" and "how easy was this or that to use"... With that said, the choices range from completely free to ultra expensive.
A bit of history... I have spent the last year developing a video streaming system for one of our businesses. In the process of it all, I have had to work with multiple video capture/editing software packages.
By answering a few questions, we can hopefully point you in a productive direction...
1: What primary operating system/hardware do you currently use? Is it Apple, or PC, and what OS are you using?
2: Are you going to produce your own videos off a camera, or are you going to have someone else shoot the actual video?
3: If you are doing your own, what type of camera are you using? What interfaces does the camera have, and does it support HD with HDMI output?
4: Are you going to produce these videos for your website, or to put on CD/DVD for prospective clients?
Please feel free to reach out here via PM, or email at joe@nenet.net if I can give you any info or support..
Thanks, and have a blessed day!

Thanks for the tag, Joe Petrowsky.
John - iMovie is great for beginnings if you are a Mac guy - Final Cut Pro X is great as well, so is Adobe Premiere.
For inexpensive, royalty free music, check out www.audioblocks.com - email me if you want a special promo code (I've been a member for years).
