Yes. Thankfully, it is not too time consuming. I post daily updates (via hootsuite)...I do 4 months at a time (LI/TW/FB same time)...wrote a post abt it which you could search for.
I connect w/ past customers and w/ networking contacts. I do get leads here periodically...it is creating top of mind awareness, esp among past customers.
