I was thinking of this when reading your blog Debbie, should call and see.   So busy, do not even think of this! 

My home policy is up for renewal. I will be checking it and updating as needed.

I do, replacement cost is one of the most important coverages to have. With all the wind and heavy rains in South Texas, the phones will be ringing off the wall with roof calls.

I even heard a landlord had a fire from illegal use of running an urban indoor farm. It is important to inspect the home regularily making sure the use was proper.  

We also need to have property fire protection, alarms, circuit breaker etc making sure our homes are safe.

yes and only by having a fire at my beach house where the neighbor piles boxes in the attic on top of the bathroom fan causing the fire. i learned alot battling insurance.

I do as I used to manage insurance functions in the corporate world as just one of my responsibilities. I have a very fine tuned interest in making sure I'm properly insured for my home, my car, my possession when I move, etc.
