In Virginia, it would go to the title company, not to the seller.

i dont think so because title would have to close and record the deal on the following business day then they would distribute the funds to seller , have a good day Chris

The funds go to the closing agent.  In Michigan that would be the title company.

Chris and Dick - In Arizona the funds are held in escrow until closing, so the title company would have the funds.

I would assume that the wire transfer is going to the title co./attorney's escrow account and not to the sellers.

Funds aren't disbursed in Nevada until the sale closes and records. In your scenario, the wire would be held by the title company, a neutral third party.

No. Title companies here don't disperse funds until after deed is recorded. They have 48 hours to record, and money is held in their account until then.
