Yep but I know my way around enough to figure it out.

Hi Michael -- I admit to talking back and correcting my GPS on a regular basis.

I've learned a valuable lesson I love my iPhone but despise the Maps app, it's as bout as useful as the built in GPS in my truck. Both have "lost" me on the way home in front of my home. I use that handy app button that shows up on the screen in the corner of Maps and have it send the address to the Google Maps app.

Michael - I typically know when the GPS is routing me the wrong way. We have a lot of new street construction, address changes, and new home construction in my area, so the GPS is often not as current and up to date as it should be.
I typically take the MLS listing with me because I can always find my way using that.

OMG...I still use a map in my rural area. A lot of our smaller roads can't be found by a GPS. Half the time the thing can't even pick up the address on where it's suppose to be.

Michael,
I have not had that problem, and once in the newly constructed (still under construction part of Las Vegas), it did not have the street names in the data bank. It got us close enough to the street, and we were able to find it. A

Yes. The phone GPS's seem to get confused more than my Garmen GPS so I prefer to use that instead of the phone.

Michael Thornton I only had this happen to me once. It directed me down a one way street in the wrong direction. Fortunately, I saw the Do Not Enter sign first.

Apple is untrusted, iGoogle is slightly better, Garmin is by far the best, I also carry maps, by city and have entire SF Bay area counties in a bookmap....

There is a problem with GPS routing people to the back gates of our gated developments. Back gates offer no admittance to non owners.

Fortunately, this has not happened to me as yet. In general, I know my area well enough that if I see what look like weird directions I can go my way and have the route recalibrated.
