Not a cat fan.  We'd call Animal Control and they'd take care of the problem.

Good luck with that Inna! The feral cat population is probably near 100,000,000 in the U.S. and growing. You may discourage domestic strays but in the long run it takes a concerted neighborhood effort to keep them under control.

I saw this on my cat from hell tv show.  You can set out and automated water sprinkler in the area of where the cat goes.  As soon as he comes within 20 to 15 feet of the water spinker it will spray water all over the cat.  You can also use with the water spinkler and noise maker the sounds an alarm that will scare off of the cat.

One of the homes we manage has a next door neighbor that feeds feral cats all the time and of course they come over to our rental and use the side yard as their litter box. It smells horrible!! I have asked the neighbor why she does not take advantage of the free spay and neuter services available out there, along with her daily feedings of these cats. I wish I knew how to keep them away...

I'm not a cat lover, so I think I'd be wise to pass on the best solution to that issue.... and I have a solution!!

Hi Inna, I would think that local animal control might have some ideas that would help.

There are repellents out there that ward cats off. Then too, there is the BB gun.

There was just a story yesterday on the news about how they are trying to catch all the Feral cats on Ft. Myers beach and have them spayed or neutered then releasing them back.  They say that if the majority of cats are fixed the new feral cats won't stick around.  You could try to catch it and have it fixed.

The comments are a perfect example of what is wrong with people.

This cat did not make itself feral...a human did...an irresponsible person who allowed their cat to impregnate the neighborhood...or worse maybe this upstanding citizen just bought a new house, moved away and dumped the cat.

Just like my politician neighbor who had a park named after him...he moved and left his 2 cats.

I would call a cat rescue group (bless them) and tell them about this situation.

The rest of you need to volunteer at an animal shelter.

Eve

A natural way?  I'd find an animal that eats cats.
