I know I'm tired of watching people look like idiots when they are filming holding up this giant square in front of everyone else ......

I've seen some pics and videos agents have taken with iPhones and pads. Very unprofessional looking and funky fish-eye skewed and distored rooms. Best let your phone be a phone, your tablet be a place for notes and calendars, and get a camera to do the job of a camera. Right tool for the job, as they say....

I use the ipad mini and I like it. Big advantage is I can plug an external mic into it. The app I use is called "MoviePro" and I have a cheap tripod. We have all heard it, don't worry about if the video is hollywood ready, rather shoot the video and move on. Remember, once you upload the video to youtube you can always edit it with the youtube editor (and youtube will give you juice for that). Check this link out, may have to get one of these cameras.

I do silly fun videos from my ipad - chatty cathy kinds- everything else I do is very professional but sometimes I just walk through the property and talk - and then upload to my youtube channel - it is as much about promoting me as the house

I use my iPhone 6plus , the video, and camera features are incredible, few people know that the 6 plus camera is actually better than the 6 with its video stabilization features. I am kind of like Jim Miner below, its not Hollywood, but its done, my clients seem to appreciate a "real world" video over the "movie star" versions, because they know when they live there, it will be the real world. For camera features I use "Agent Snap" . Its an app that works great for interior photos

Interesting, I have not used it but this is getting mywheels churning. I have the latest Apple I phone and have shot a couple of pictures but not happy with the quality.
So, the videos agents have taken. Can they be uploaded in the same way as virtual tours? Would certainly save a lot of time.

Frank Rubi, MBA I don't think of my iPad or my iPhone as a video camera. I have not used either one for videos.

I use a video cam mostly but have used my iphone. I have an ipad but use my other tech tools first. I think it would do a very nice job though.

I have taken tons of photos with my ipad and only a few videos. They turned out just fine.

I don't use my Ipad to do any marketing with. I wanted the best outcome so invested in a good camera/ video set up.

You don't cut your meat with a spoon, video is done best with something in the marketing holster designed for video! No matter what you use for the capture of sight and sound, do a written or mental story board and learn to edit. Be consistent for a look of the intro, extro and think is this helping my buyer, seller or wasting their time? We bought our second drone, and video is the most neglected, powerful but underused of all the marketing tools.
