I generally don't have time to do this. but, I have occasionally found important emails there.
Because I know this happens to people, I always try to follow up w/ customers to make sure they received my proposals. I have saved a few that did go to the spam folder just by having them check.

I absolutely have to review what is in my spam folder. There is always something that ends up in there, that shouldn't. I'm in it a couple of times a week.

Praful Thakkar I don't have a spam folder, but I do check email headers on my ISP server in case a good email falls through the crack.

Yes at least once a day as email do get in there. I find many with cc's or bcc's find their way there.

Praful - Typically I do not. I get probably over 150 emails a day, and about 10-15 go directly into my spam. I guess I should check them before I delete.

It is a good idea to check spam folders regularly - and delete all the spams immediately instead of piling it up.

Praful, before clearing junk mail, I select alphabetical order, then browse by who sent the email. There are certain senders and categories I monitor, and others that I recognize as junk. Because my email comes to both my desktop and my smart phone, I tend to follow up and delete obvious junk frequently from the phone, and then move important messsages to folders or a HOLD folder for further review. Things may still slip through cracks, but not as likely. Most e-mail is junk once you get past the title.

I quickly skim before deleting. On the off chance that something landed in spam that I should really see, I take the approach that if it's really important the sender will email it again (and maybe call me to make sure I see it.)

Yes I do. I actually check my spam regularly. Sometimes a good email slips into there.

Definitely, Praful Thakkar ... I know for a fact that a few of my referral partners emails go in there (for whatever reason that I can't quite fix). I don't want to miss something important or timely ...

Absolutely! I wouldn't think of deleting before checking to make sure something important hadn't inadvertently found its way into the spam box...

Always, I have a handful that no matter what I do, they end up in my spam folder. So every morning, I clean it out, but I always doublecheck each and every email

I have an old AOL address that I got in the mid 90's. I cannot delete it because family and old friends still use that. But I started out with that email address so I still get emails from old clients. The spam folder is filled every day, I try to give it a quick glance but not always
