I haven't done this, John. I've had people offer to be guest bloggers, but still haven't gotten around to really thinking about the pros and cons.

Good morning John. I am told that this happens quite often, but I couldn't do it. No ghostwriters here.

I have posted very few guest blogs and would welcome the opportunity for more outstanding blogs.

Occasionally I'll have my assistant write a post "through the eyes of a millenial" but I always give her credit and make it clear she's my guest blogger.

Have I used them? You bet!
On my blog? No, that is not a good use of that resource.
What did they write? Commentary that runs parallel to 'How to' types of writing. As an example, the "HOW TO" guides for the 4 types of open house blends aspects from the Heritage of Happiness to create a much warmer, dimensional read. I provide the core, the fabric, the ingredients, they bake the cake.

I have not done that on my own blog, but I have been a guest author on 5 or 6 realtor blogs. I've written abt flooring and tried to tie to real estate (e.g. what types of flooring are new home buyers looking for? what types of flooring give you the best ROI when selling your house? what types of floors are home buyers looking for in kitchens? Those may not be the right titles, but you get the idea.
