We've discovered that two measures give max control over the business. New Client Appointments per week and Sales Under Contract for the month. The monthly measure is compared against previous year's for that month and against goal for this year. Shifting over to this from trying to manage by closings and income is like breathing fresh air. Evelyn, Joan, Debbie, Jeanne, Bill and a few others seem to do something like we do.

ABSOLUTELY! I have an excel spreadsheet I started years ago, and have added data along the way. Know each sale, date, sale amount, commission and if I paid a referral. Know sales by month and year and number of sales. End of year I know where the business came from and what cities and how the percentage of buy/sell came out.
